Sportsmanship Award: Bob Tempel 40
Had a few bad calls this season but has held his head up high. He’s a feature winner and a good driver. He’s attended many organizational meetings, showing good support towards helping the sport grow. He’s always out on the track congratulating his fellow racers. Being a veteran, he’s a good example to young drivers.
Hard Luck Award: Skip Blundell 6X
Skip has been racing for many years. He took one heck of a hit in Geneva and it totaled his car. He’s still come to almost every race and supported all the drivers. He’s spent countless hours towards NeFigure8N and helping the sport grow even though he’s announced his retirement from racing.
Helping Hand: OTI Racing Team 39/82B
Gave a huge hand and helping fix my car in Kansas. Without them I would not of made it back for my consi and wouldn't have made the feature. I believe I had about 8 guys under the car going to town when I was ready to load it up and drink some beer!
