The Nebraska Points Championship was started by Leon Pearson in 2006 formally known as the Crash for Cash Points Championship. Each year there are a number of derbies that are part of the Nebraska Points Championship Schedule. There is no entry fee to participate all you have to do is show up and derby at the events on the schedule. In addition to a unique trophy Leon has also gathers a group of sponsors for the points championship and the top 10 finishers in points are paid at the end of the year.
Points Awarded as follows: 20 points for running and participating at derby, 3 additional points are awarded per position in the feature. Also 10 extra points are awarded to the Mad Dog at each event.
The only way to run the CDDA derby in October to is qualify in one of the qualifying events. All entries into the CDDA derby will be paid by NPC.
